NEA Member Benefits Partners With Airbnb Hosting Program
Nancy Wagner-Jenkins
NEA Member Benefits recently announced a partnership with Airbnb to help empower NEA members to become Airbnb hosts and earn added income, plus a stipend. The Airbnb Hosting Program officially launches on NEA MB's web site, www.neamb.com, on March 28, 2022.
Airbnb is one of the most recognized and popular online platforms worldwide for booking private home stays and vacation rentals. Airbnb reports that, currently, one in five employed Airbnb hosts is an educator or healthcare worker. Educators in the U.S. earned more than $180 million from hosting in 2020, including more than $61 million during the summer months.
NEA members in good standing who have not previously listed their home on the platform will be eligible for a $100 stipend after hosting their first booking of $100 or more. (Homes must satisfy Airbnb's listing requirements). Airbnb Superhosts, who are experienced hosts with a proven track record on the Airbnb platform, will provide members coaching and webinars to help set up a successful listing.
NJREA members may visit www.neamb.com/ hosting to learn more about the program and begin their hosting adventure.
